TUNA SALAD

INGREDIENTS

4 cans of 7oz albacore white tuna in water

¾ cup yellow onion, chopped

¾ cup celery, chopped

¾ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup lemon juice

salt & pepper to taste

EQUIPMENT

large bowl

measuring cups

chopping board

sharp knife

can opener

mixing spoon

METHOD

DRAIN and squeeze out excess water from tuna cans. You want the tuna to be moist, but not wet and watery

MIX together all ingredients in a large bowl -- tuna, onion, celery, mayo, lemon juice, salt and pepper

SERVE on your favorite sandwich bread, in a wrap, on a cracker, with chips, or with sliced veggies

Make sure to really squeeze out the water from your tuna. What I like to do is drain through a strainer and then pick up a handful of tuna from the strainer and give an extra squeeze in the palm of your hand before throwing into your large mixing bowl.
